Terms of Service
These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of Meal Graph, including the Meal Graph website, mobile apps, and related services. By using Meal Graph, you agree to these Terms.

1. The Service
Meal Graph helps users log meals, analyze meal photos and descriptions, estimate nutrition, search food items, customize nutrition targets, and review nutrition patterns. Some features use artificial intelligence and third-party nutrition databases.
Meal Graph may be offered as a closed beta, limited-access service, paid subscription, free trial, or combination of these. Access to some features may require approval, an active account, or an active paid subscription.
2. Eligibility and Accounts
You must be at least 16 years old to use Meal Graph. If you are under 18, you may use Meal Graph only with permission from a parent or guardian.
You are responsible for the accuracy of information you provide and for keeping your account, device, and authentication methods secure. You must notify us if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.
3. Subscriptions, Free Trials, and Billing
Meal Graph may offer paid subscriptions with a free trial. Trial length, subscription price, renewal terms, and included features will be shown before purchase.
Unless stated otherwise at purchase, a free trial automatically converts to a paid subscription when the trial ends unless you cancel before the trial expires. Paid subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled before the renewal date.
Subscriptions may be billed through Apple App Store, Google Play, or Stripe web checkout. Billing, renewal, cancellation, price-change notices, payment disputes, and refunds are handled by the billing provider used for purchase according to its rules and your account settings with that provider.
To cancel, use the subscription management settings for the Apple App Store, Google Play, or Stripe account/session used to purchase the subscription. Deleting a Meal Graph account cancels linked Stripe web subscriptions before deletion completes, but it does not cancel Google Play or Apple App Store subscriptions. Deleting the app alone does not cancel any subscription.
Meal Graph does not receive your full payment card details. We may receive limited subscription status, receipt, entitlement, renewal, cancellation, or trial information needed to provide paid features and support your account.
4. Nutrition and Medical Disclaimer
Meal Graph is not a medical device, health care provider, dietitian, or medical service. Meal Graph does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease or medical condition.
Nutrition values, meal analysis, AI feedback, targets, and insights are estimates for informational and educational purposes only. They may be incomplete, inaccurate, outdated, or inappropriate for your individual circumstances.
Always review and edit AI-generated meal results before relying on them. Consult a qualified medical or nutrition professional before making health, diet, supplement, or medical decisions.
5. AI and Database Accuracy
Meal Graph uses AI systems, user-provided inputs, image analysis, food databases, search, and estimation logic. These systems can make mistakes, including incorrect food identification, portion estimates, nutrition values, allergens, ingredients, or recommendations.
You are responsible for checking results and deciding whether they are suitable for your use. Meal Graph may improve, change, replace, limit, or remove AI features at any time.
6. Your Content
You retain ownership of meal photos, meal descriptions, food items, feedback, and other content you submit to Meal Graph.
You grant Meal Graph a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, copy, process, display, analyze, transform, and use your content as needed to provide, secure, support, debug, and improve Meal Graph. This includes using identifiable meal data internally when reasonably needed for support, debugging, safety, abuse prevention, quality review, or AI accuracy improvement.
You represent that you have the rights needed to submit your content and that your content does not violate law or another person's rights.
7. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use Meal Graph for unlawful, harmful, deceptive, abusive, or infringing purposes.
- Upload content that violates privacy, intellectual property, or other rights.
- Attempt to bypass authentication, access controls, subscription controls, rate limits, or security measures.
- Reverse engineer, scrape, overload, disrupt, or interfere with Meal Graph or its providers.
- Use Meal Graph to generate or distribute medical, dietary, or safety advice for others as if it were professional advice.
8. Third-Party Services and Data Sources
Meal Graph depends on third-party services and data sources, including Supabase, Google AI services, Google Geocoding for optional country detection, Apple App Store, Google Play, Stripe, static hosting providers, and public nutrition databases such as NEVO and CIQUAL. Third-party services may be subject to their own terms and policies.
Meal Graph is not responsible for third-party services, app-store or web billing systems, outages, data source errors, or changes made by those providers.
9. Service Changes, Beta Features, and Availability
Meal Graph may change over time. We may add, modify, suspend, or remove features, beta access, AI models, data sources, subscription plans, prices, or availability. We may impose usage limits where needed for security, quality, cost control, or operational reasons.
We do not guarantee that Meal Graph will always be available, uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.
10. Suspension and Termination
We may suspend or terminate access to Meal Graph if you violate these Terms, misuse the service, create risk for Meal Graph or others, fail to maintain a required subscription, lose beta access, or if continued access would create legal, security, or operational risk.
You may stop using Meal Graph at any time. You can delete your account from Settings > Account > Delete Account in the app, or use the instructions on the Account Deletion page if you cannot access the app. Account deletion cancels linked Stripe web subscriptions before deletion completes, but subscriptions controlled by Apple App Store, Google Play, or another external provider must be canceled with that provider.
11. Intellectual Property
Meal Graph, including its software, design, branding, text, graphics, and underlying technology, is owned by Meal Graph or its licensors. These Terms do not grant you ownership of Meal Graph or permission to use Meal Graph branding except as needed to use the service.
12. Disclaimer of Warranties
Meal Graph is provided "as is" and "as available." To the maximum extent permitted by law, Meal Graph disclaims all warranties, whether express, implied, statutory, or otherwise, including warranties of accuracy, reliability, fitness for a particular purpose, merchantability, non-infringement, availability, and security.
13. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Meal Graph will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, health decisions, dietary decisions, business interruption, or service unavailability.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited, including mandatory consumer rights where applicable.
14. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, unless mandatory consumer protection laws in your location require otherwise. If you live in the European Union, United Kingdom, Switzerland, or United States, you may have mandatory rights that these Terms do not limit.
15. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms as Meal Graph changes. If changes are material, we will provide notice through the app, website, email, app-store listing, or another reasonable method. Continued use of Meal Graph after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
